DANNY: Hey.
JACK: Hey. How ya doin'? (Jack's looking yummy in a black leather jacket!)
DANNY: Good. (Raises eyebrows) Did ya get your hair cut?
JACK: Yeah, Why?
DANNY: No reason.
JACK: Can I see your scar?
DANNY: No!
JACK: Uh, Fraiser says it'll be about a week before you, you know, get out
of here.
DANNY: You know, it's funny after all we've been thru these last --- few
years, it's my appendix that lays me out. But, it's not gonna be a week,
I mean, I feel fine now.
JACK: Wanna go fishin'?
DANNY: Actually, I wouldn't uh ---(Tries to get up, hurts) Well, maybe ---
(Thru pained voice) No, you know, I think, I think I will stay here for
2 or 3 --- 3 days.
SAM: (Taking off her hat) Sir?! Hi! How's Daniel? (Fixing her hair)
JACK: AW, he's gonna be fine. What are you doing?
SAM: Uh, I'm getting ready to do a detailed analysis of the decay rate of
naquata within the reactor. It's really quite amazing, I mean unlike plutonium,
it actually has ---
JACK: Ah! I'm on vacation!
SAM: (Smiles) Yes, Sir.
JACK: So are you.
SAM: I know. It's not that I'm happy that Daniel's in excruciating pain
or anything like that, but I've been looking forward to an opportunity like
this for quite some time---
JACK: You know, maybe it's just me, but I always thought when one GOT a
chance to leave, one actually LEFT. (Sam Smiles) Daniel's recuperating,
Teal'C's off visiting his kid somewhere, personally, I have a date with
a lake in Minnesota where the bass grow that big. (Opens his arms wide)
SAM: (Sarcastically) Really?!
JACK: Oh, Yes! What I'm describing here, Carter, involves a very special
element.
SAM: This IS fun to me, Sir.
JACK: Well, if --- playing with your little reactor sounds better than exploring
the lakes and natural beauty of Northern Minnesota, there's not much I can
do.
SAM: Was that an invitation --- Sir?
JACK: Nothing wrong with that is there? (She shakes her head, then looks
down to his chest, then back up to his eyes) Couple of Co-workers, friends
if you will, fishing. It'd be fun.
SAM: (Smiles) Wow! (Blushing?) I appreciate the offer, Sir, really! Sounds
great! But I should ---
JACK: (Answers her very quickly) No sweat! (She turns back to him) See you
in a week. And by all means, have fun! (He leaves) (Sam smiles)
SAM: (In the hallway) Colonel! (He turns) Uh --- (Looses her smile) (He
cocks his head , and raises his eyebrows) Have a good time!
JACK: Land of sky-blue waters, loofas, (Sam smiles real pretty here) ya
sure ya betcha' , snookums, mosquitoes --- (He disappears) (She looks surprised,
and pushes the alarm) (Thor's ship is shown with a light going up to it)
(He appears in the ship) Home of the loons --- (He looks around, then out
the window to the Earth below) Thor?! Hello? (Walking thru the ship) (He
heard scratching noise, and sees a light. Then he sees the spiders) What
the hell? Damn. (They are approaching him)
OPENING
CREDITS!!!!
JACK: (The replicators are still approaching him. One appears in back
of him, and touches him) AH! (Another one crawls over his chest) (Swatting
it away) AH! DAMN! (He watches the bugs crawl away from him.)
SAM: I'm pretty sure it was the Asguard transportation technology.
GH: For Jack's sake, let's hope you're right.
SAM: Depends on what they want this time, Sir.
GH: True! Send a message thru the stargate to Teal'C.
SAM: Yes, Sir.
GH: (into phone) This is General Hammond. Get me Major Davis at the pentagon.
JACK: (After shot of a bug eating thru the wall) Thor?
THOR: Greeting, O'Neill. Turn right, then enter the door at the end of
the corridor. (Jack enters room, and finds Thor in a bed) O'Neill.
JACK: Thor? You all right?
THOR: (Slowly, weakly) I am dying.
JACK: What happened?
THOR: It is , as you humans say, a long story.
JACK: Does this have anything to do with those --- bugs?
THOR: I could not transport you directly into this room. The --- bugs
--- as you call them, are attracted to the high-energy output of the transporter.
JACK: What are they?
THOR: They are the enemy of the Asguard.
JACK: THIS would be the enemy worse than the Goa'Uld you told me about?
THOR: I am weak. The information you will need is contained within the
stones. (Jack looks over to the console.) Forgive me!
JACK: For what? (Thor closes his eyes) Thor?
Jack
walks over to the console, and raises his eyebrows in confusion. He picks
up the stone, and moves it. Thor Appears on a screen.
THOR: (Over screen) Colonel Jack O'Neill, I have made these recordings
for you for in the event that I am dead, or unable to pass on the necessary
information. (Jack looks confused) Under my command, The Biliskner was
called into battle against an enemy we have named "Replicators."
During the battle, this ship became infested by the technology. The replicators
accessed the computer which contained information about your planet, (Jack
begins to realize what's going on.) and plotted a course here. The crew
was transported off the ship. I destroyed the outbound transported technology
to prevent the replicators from escaping, (He has a weary smile, like
Uh-Oh!) and remained in the hopes of stopping The Biliskner from reaching
earth. (Jack blinks, with a sad look on his face) If you are watching
this recording, I have failed. Then , I have also likely doomed YOU to
certain death.
Teal'C's
running up the stairs.
GH: Teal'C, thank you for returning.
TEAL'C: For what matter of urgency have I been summoned, General Hammond?
SAM: I think I witnessed Colonel O'Neill being transported out the base
by the Asguard.
TEAL'C: (Sitting down) For what purpose?
GH: We're not sure yet.
A
light appears behind Sam. It's a Hologram of Jack.
JACK: Hello? Hello? Testing, Testing! Is this thing on?!
SAM: (Having turned) Colonel?
JACK: (Who was facing away toward the gate.) (Turning toward her voice)
Carter?!
SAM: Sir? What going on?!
JACK: Well, I need a Spaz-12, a BF-8, 10 pounds of PBX, and a USAS at
the base of the star gate in Oh, 5 minutes. (Smiles)
SAM: That's a lot of explosives, Sir.
GH: May I ask why?
JACK: Well, basically, Thor's ship has been taken over by a bunch of nasty
techno-bugs. (He appears to shutter)
TEAL'C: Were the Asguard not able to defeat them?
JACK: Guess not. (Smiles)
SAM: So, Sir, are you saying that these bugs are technologically advanced?
JACK: Yeah. Apparently, they plan to land the ship and infest earth. Thor
says this --- would not be a good thing.
GH: What are you going to do?
JACK: Destroy the ship.
SAM: Where's Thor?
JACK (Looking back) Oh, he's here! He's --- just not feeling too well
at the moment.
SAM: We'll be ready in 10 minutes, Sir --- (Jack bows his head) Thor can
transport us up there to help you.
JACK : Thank you, Carter, but that's not gonna happen. Thor's out cold.
Bugs got him pretty good, but he did leave some instructions on how to
run the toys up here.
SAM: So, can you transport us up?
JACK: I can --- But --- I'm --- not going to.
TEAL'C: What is your reasoning, O'Neill?
JACK: Anybody who comes up --- is NOT getting down.
SAM: Well, Sir, if you can't get off the ship ---
JACK: Yeah. I know. (Looks away) Look, my time's almost up here. Have
the stuff ready in 10 minutes --- wish me luck! (Smiles)
SAM: Colonel ---
JACK : Major!, it's an order, and it's final. (Sam just looks at him)
GH: Good luck, Jack.
JACK: Thank you , Sir. (Looks away, and disappears) (Sam has a sad look
on her face, and she looks at Teal'C, who looks at GH)
GH: (To Teal'C) Teal'C, See that the ordinance is in place. Major, to
your knowledge, if Colonel O'Neill is unsuccessful, could that ship be
destroyed by a surface to air strike?
SAM: (Shakes her head) Sir, the ship has sophisticated cloaking devices.
We've been looking for it in orbit since Colonel O'Neill disappeared.
Nothing.
GH: Well, if we can't see it, we can't target it. (Sam shakes her head)
THOR: (Over recorder, the little guy is still passed out) The molecular
transportation device is pre programmed to target the area directly in
front of your earth-based stargate.
(Jack rewinds the tape, or is it fast forward?) Enter these symbols on
the console in front of you. 30 seconds after entering the code, the targeted
material will be transported to the indicated cargo hold. (Jack raises
his eyebrows) (He looks @ his watch, then leaves) Remember, the transportation
device emits energy strong enough, to attract the replicators.
Jack
runs thru the halls. He looks mighty yummy in the leather jacket, white
tee shirt, and cacky pants. He enters the room, and see Sam and Teal'C
with the equipment.
JACK: Dammit! I gave you people a direct order!!!!
SAM: (Handing him a gun) General Hammond over ruled you, Sir. We may have
a way off the ship.
JACK: (After hearing the bugs) God! Grab what ya can. Let's go!
They
grab the stuff, and run out the room, followed by the bugs. Pretty cool
thermal shot from the bug's POV of the doors shutting. A few bugs get
thru . Teal'C tries ZATing them. Nothing. He shoots it 2 more times, it's
still there, no disappearance! <G> The same bug jumps at the trio,
and Jack shoots it with his gun, making it scatter into a hundred pieces.
He shoots the other two with his rifle. During this time, Teal'C, realizing
that the ZATs don't work, grabs a gun, and cocks it. Within seconds, the
bugs come back together. LEGO blocks aren't that easy to put together!
<g> The thermo scan appears again. Teal'C shoots the bug, breaking
it apart again.
JACK: Let's move! (Teal'C picks up the case, and looks back.) (They arrive
back at THOR's chambers) Hey buddy. How ya feelin'? You uh, remember Carter?
Teal'C?
THOR: Why did you bring them?
JACK: (Raises his eyebrows, and looks at his companions) Anyone?
TEAL'C: We believe we could be of assistance.
THOR: Now, you will ALL die.
SAM: Actually, we don't think so. Sir, there's a shuttle prepping on the
launch pad. We can transmit the coordinates to NASA, they can be here
in a matter of hours. We also brought space suits in case an E.V.A. is
required.
THOR: This pod can generate an anti-gravity field, making it easier to
move.
SAM: Does this ship have an airlock?
THOR: Yes.
JACK: So, we plant some PBX, jump ship, then blow it.
THOR: What is PBX?
TEAL'C: An explosive.
JACK: You just have to tell us the best places to plant it.
THOR: All Asguard ships are equipped with internal dampening fields that
activate in the event of an explosion.
JACK: Well, how exactly do you expect us to destroy the ship?
THOR: If I knew a fast, simple , method, I would have destroyed the ship
myself before endangering your lives.
JACK: Of course you would have.
THOR: The technical specifications of the Bilitzner Were contained within
the recordings I made for you.
JACK: (Sam looks at him with a raised eyebrow) OH! (Looking down on her)
I haven't had time to watch all the stones. (Teal'C has a cute look on
his face)
SAM: What?
JACK: Stick those on there. (She moves a stone, and Thor, and a drawing
of the ship appears)
THOR: --- Is powered by 4 neutrine ion generators . In your Earth units
of measurements, each unit ---
JACK: (After semi-confused looks from both Sam and Teal'C) Yeah, my eyes
glossed over right about there.
SAM: Guess I better go thru all these recordings. (Thor Continues)
Back
to base.
The
elevator's going down to the 27th, 28th floors. OH! If it isn't Mr. Yummy!
Uh --- I mean Major Davis! <g>
GH: Welcome back, Major.
DAVIS: General, I wish it wasn't always under such --- unusual circumstances.
Any further word on the situation?
GH: No. We haven't been able to make radio contact with SG-1.
DAVIS: Well, the Asguard cloaking device is also blocking radio signals.
GH: I see you've done your homework, Major.
DAVIS: General, All I do all day long is read up on the Star gate program.
THOR"S
Ship
THOR:
They were discovered on an isolated planet in our home galaxy some time
ago. The creators were NOT present.
TEAL'C: Most likely destroyed by their own creation.
THOR: The replicators were brought aboard the ship for study before the
danger could be fully comprehended.
JACK: We do that all the time. We kind of expected more from you guys.
THOR: Overconfidence in our technology has been our undoing. The entities
learned from the very means that were employed to stop them. They have
become a plague on our galaxy that is annialating everything in it's path.
JACK: Why haven't these little buggers landed the ship already?
THOR: Their odds of survival in a new environment depend on numbers. They
are currently feeding off this ship, and replicating.
SAM: Are you saying they are actually EATING this ship?
THOR: Ingesting the alloys, yes. (Sam looks at Jack, Teal'C has the look.
<Stoic face>) They will continue until they risk compromising the
integrity of the hull. Then, they will land in search of more raw materials.
SAM: How intelligent are they?
THOR: Their capacity for learning is extremely high. Each entity is capable
of individual behavior, yet, they all act with a common purpose ---
JACK: What's that?
THOR: Self replication.
TEAL'C: And there does not appear to be a way to stop them.
SAM: Hang on! Thor, you said that they wouldn't risk compromising the
integrity of the hull?
THOR: Correct.
SAM: Can this ship withstand an uncontrolled re-entry into the atmosphere?
THOR: No. The heat from the friction would cause the ship to burn up.
JACK: (Surprised look) Wait a minute! Are you trying to tell me that with
all this advanced intergalactic technology, this ship can't take a little
HEAT?
THOR: In order to reflect the subspace field of the gener ---
JACK: So --- no.
THOR: Yes. (Jack looks at Sam.)
SAM: Then all we have to do is crash the ship into the atmosphere.
THOR: You will have to regain control of the navigational computer.
JACK: (He and Sam look at each other) Sounds like A plan.
THOR: THAT can only be done from the bridge.
SAM: There was a map in the recordings. Can we direct them from here as
they go?
THOR: Yes. (Sam looks at Jack who raises his eyebrows)
JACK: OK! (Jack and Teal'C are walking thru the halls. Scratching sounds
are heard.) Hear that?
TEAL'C: They are in the walls, O'Neill.
SAM: (Over radio) Colonel, can you hear me?
JACK: We hear ya.
SAM: You wanna go down that hall. (They turn to their right, then head
down the hall way.) (Back to the room with Thor) Why are some areas flashing?
THOR: They indicate the quadrants of the ship that the replicators have
disabled.
SAM: Ho - How do I zoom in?
THOR: Top left symbol.
SAM: (Over radio, scene is back to the men) You wanna go thru that door
on your left. (Jack opens the door, see nothing, but can hear the bugs.)
(Uh-Oh! They see some bugs chowing down on the doorway.) (Back to the
room with Thor) Why can't I see any bugs on the screen?
THOR: The first thing the replicators do once aboard an Asguard ship,
is disable the sensors capable of detecting them.
SAM: But I can still see Colonel O'Neill and Teal'C.
THOR: They are being detected by the thermal sensors, which cannot see
the replicators. (Thor gasps, and breathes raspily)
SAM: Are you OK?
THOR: I can not use the ship's automated medical system. If the replicators
have tampered with it, It could kill me.
SAM: Well, we brought medical supplies, and I have field medical training.
THOR: You cannot help me.
JACK: (After opening a door) Are we there yet?
SAM: The door up ahead on your left leads to the bridge.
TEAL'C: (At the door to the bridge.) It sounds as if there are replicators
inside.
JACK: Watch your self. (He opens the door, the bugs are everywhere! All
over the walls, there's no controls left. The bridge IS where they steer
the ship, right? Captain Kirk would NOT like having to drive this ship!
OK! I'll stop now.) (Jack and Teal'C both have stunned looks on their
faces) Forget that! (He closes the door to the bridge.) (Coming in with
Teal'C carrying the other supplies) OK! New plan!
SAM: (Looking inside box) Nothing's been damaged.
JACK: Good.
SAM: Sir --- Thor's not doing well. That pod could put him in a deep stasis
that would preserve his life.
JACK: Then do it.
SAM: He won't let me.
JACK: (Walks over to Thor) Hey! I hear you're not being a particularly
cooperative patient.
THOR: As long as I am conscious, I still may be of some assistance.
JACK: Yeah, however, if you're DEAD ---
THOR: As I have said, if you do succeed in destroying this ship, we will
ALL die.
JACK: And, as Carter has said, we may have a way off this ship.
SAM: Wait a minute, that's it! Thor, you said there are dampening fields
INSIDE the ship that prevent explosions. What about OUTSIDE the ship?
THOR: There are shields around the ship, but they would not protect against
a weapon already inside the force field.
SAM: OK! Now there was a specific engine in the informational recordings.
It controls Re-Entry.
THOR: The deceleration drive, yes.
SAM: We brought an explosive device that's enhanced with naquata. Would
that be enough to destroy the deceleration drive? (Jack's just looking
on, confused)
THOR: This plan COULD work!
JACK: Plan? (Sam looks at him) What plan?
SAM: Sir, the bugs are gonna land the ship themselves eventually. The
BF-8 might just be enough firepower to blow the deceleration drives.
JACK: Might?
SAM: IF we blow it at the right time, we could alter the re-entry pass.
The ship would then accelerate out of control, then burn up in Earth's
Atmosphere.
TEAL'C (Jack's rubbing his head like he has a headache!<g>) What
needs to be done, then, is to place this explosive outside this vessel.
SAM: Someone's gonna have to go out there.
JACK: Of course they are. (Sarcastically?)
Back
to base, Danny is slowly walking up the stairs.
GH: What are you doing down here, Doctor Jackson?
DANNY: I've just been informed, Sir. I was wondering if there was anything
I could do to help.
DAVIS: General, we're going to DEFCON 3. The Russians have gone on alert
as a response. The moment the Asguard ship attempts to land, the President
has decided to let the rest of the world know what we know.
GH: And then?
DAVIS: We hit it with everything we've got.
DANNY: Uh, SG-1 is on that ship.
DAVIS: I have as much confidence in SG-1 as you, Doctor Jackson, but they
left over an hour ago. We've had no communication since, and we have NO
idea what kind of a time frame we have here.
GH: Let's give them a reasonable chance, Major.
DAVIS: Yes, Sir. I'll try to define REASONABLE to the Pentagon. (Smiles
and nods at Danny before leaving.)
The
Defcon 3 alert dings, and sirens go off.
SAM: Bugs haven't over run the part of the ship where the airlock is yet.
JACK: Let's do it!
SAM: Each tank has 6 hours of oxygen. Who ever goes should have plenty
of time.
TEAL'C : I will go. (Sam smiles at him)
JACK: I was gonna do it.
SAM: There IS a radiation concern, Sir.
TEAL'C: My symbiote protects me from exposure to radiation for long periods
of time.
JACK: OK! You go. (Teal'C raises his eyebrow, and nods his head)
SAM: (Jack pulls Teal'C, who's wearing the space suit around a corner.)
It looks like the top button opens the inner door, the middle button pressurizes
the air lock, and the bottom one opens the outer door.
JACK: Uh, Roger that. (Lowering the shield over Teal'C's face, he can
see himself in the glass.) You can hear me?
TEAL'C: (Over radio) Indeed.
JACK: You might want to think about --- hanging on tight out there. (Teal'C
nods his head . Is he scared? I know I would be!) (Softly) Let's do it.
(He opens the door, and pushes touches Teal'C's oxygen tank as he steps
thru the door.) (He closes the door, and Teal'C turns toward him) Say
something.
TEAL'C: One small step for Jaffa ---
JACK: Very nice. (Teal'C nods his head) (Shot goes to something falling
on the suit, making a sizzling sound. This is unknown to Jack and Teal'C.
Uh-Oh!) (Jack opens the outer door, and Teal'C gives him a thumbs up.
And floats out the door. ) Scraping in Scrabbling is heard.) Oh, Crap!
Teal'C, How's it going?
TEAL'C: (Over radio) I am returning.
JACK: (Nervously) I don't suppose you could step on it could you?
TEAL'C: I am moving as quickly as possible, O'Neill. (The outer door closes.
Jack tries to open it back up on the console, no luck.)
JACK: Carter?
SAM: Yes, Sir! I'm working on it! (Teal'C is at the outer door with a
surprised, and scare look on his face) (He presses the bottom button.)
TEAL'C: The door will not open!
JACK: Yeah, Hang on! (He looks up to see the bugs coming thru the roof
of the hold) Oh, God! (UH-OH! The stuff that came from the ceiling earlier,
it ate thru the space suit, releasing the oxygen) His tank just blew!!!!
TEAL'C: (Out of breath) O'Neill! (I guess it's time for an emergency session
of Kel'No' Reem!)
JACK: CARTER!!!!!
SAM: Sir, I'm trying to get the transported to beam him inside, but it's
not working! The transporter array on that side of the ship must have
been knocked out by the bugs. We can still do this! But --- Teal'C's gonna
have to push off.
JACK: WHAT?!
SAM: The other transported array's can pick him up, but only if he's far
enough AWAY from the ship.
JACK: (Seeing Teal'C out of air) Teal'C, we're gonna try to beam you aboard
--- But you have to push off from the ship first. You read? YOU HAVE TO
PUSH OFF!!!!!
Teal'C pushes off from the ship. Shot goes to his POV, seeing Jack inside,
then shot goes to Jack's POV, seeing Teal'C floating in space.
SAM: He's taking too long. Isn't there someway to re-aim the transporter
arrays? (Thor struggles to breath) Damn! (Shot goes to Teal'C floating
again)
JACK: Carter?!
SAM: I'm trying! (You see the red representing Teal'C passing over the
while representing the array) Got it!
JACK: (Teal'C appears behind him) Teal'C! Teal'C?! (Teal'C appears to
be passed out, it's the Kel'No'Reem. ) Come on! (He get's the mask off,
and lifts Teal'C's head.) (Thor looks bad, this pod is beeping. Sam closes
the cover) (Back to Teal'C and Jack. Jack's shaking him) (Frantically)
Come on, come on! BREATH!!!! (Teal'C opens his eyes) Oh, yeah! THAT'S
following orders! (lightly slaps Teal'C face) (Offering his hands) Can
you move?
TEAL'C: I can O'Neill.
JACK: Come on.
GH: (To Technician Sergeant Davis) Still no communication of any kind?
TS DAVIS: No, Sir. And NORAD's still reporting no sign of the Alien ship.
GH: Doctor Jackson, are you OK?
DANNY: I'll be fine.
GH: Well, why don't you go back to the infirmary? I promise, I will notify
you with any news.
DANNY: Sir, I know there no reason for me to be here, but I just --- I
feel like I SHOULD be here. That's not totally true, actually I feel like
I should be up there with them.
GH: Now you know how I feel most of the time.
SAM: (Teal'C breathing hard) According to the schematics, that was the
only one left untouched by the bugs. You gonna be OK?
TEAL'C : I will be fine.
JACK: (About Thor) What happened?
SAM: He was dying. I had to put him into stasis.
JACK: So ---?
SAM: So, we wait, and blow the bomb at the right time.
JACK: Which is --- when?
SAM: (Helping Teal'C out of his space suit) When we start to enter the
atmosphere. Too early, and theoretically re-entry could be aborted by
the bugs. We wait too long into the descent, the bomb could burn off before
we could detonate it.
JACK: Think you could fix that beam down thing?
SAM: Not without THOR's help , Sir.
JACK: Better contact Hammond. Let him know what to expect. (He tries the
stones. They aren't working!) All right, this thing's not working!
TEAL'C: (Hearing chattering sounds overhead) Thor was correct! We are
going to die!
JACK: Ow, come on, Teal'C. Lighten up! Been in these situations before.
SAM: No, Sir. We haven't.
JACK: (Looking at her, surprised) We haven't?
TEAL'C: The vessel is beginning it's descent.
SAM: I have an idea, Sir.
Major
Davis (M. Davis) And GH are running down the steps.
TS DAVIS: Sir, NORAD's reporting an unidentifiable flying object entering
the atmosphere over the Pacific.
DANNY: They've disabled the ship's cloaking device.
TECH: Object's on a controlled entry.
TS DAVIS: Projected landing on the West coast of the US , Sir.
M. DAVIS: It could also be a sign they've already lost the battle.
GH: (Into phone) This is General Hammond. At this time, I recommend going
to DEFCON 2. Deploy all available assets to intercept the Alien ship.
DANNY: General?
GH: I'm sorry, Dr. Jackson. But if that ship makes it thru the atmosphere,
we have no choice but to assume SG-1 failed. We MUST destroy it but what
ever means necessary.
JACK: All right, Carter. Let's do it!
SAM: Here we go!
M. DAVIS: The Russians have also spotted the incoming object, and are
inquiring.
GH: The Joint Chiefs will respond. (A light is seen, and the gate disappears!)
(Everyone is stunned)
(It
appears behind Teal'C on the ship.)
M. DAVIS: I'll have to call you back!
DANNY: (Still stunned) There gonna use it to escape!
M. DAVIS: Like you did from the Apophis Mother Ship! It could work!
DANNY: It WILL work! The--- They'll gate to another planet, then home.
GH: But you had a DHD, they don't.
M. DAVIS: Even disconnected, they should have enough power to dial out
once.
GH: (Nods) This is Hammond. I want the Beta gate unpacked from storage
immediately. Yes, you HEARD me! I want it unpacked, and ready for use
as soon as humanly possible.
JACK: (After NICE , yummy, shot of Teal'C's muscles uh --- I mean TEAl'C
dialing the gate manually) <g> Where are we going?
TEAL'C: P3X-234.
JACK: I hear it's nice there this time of year. (More of Teal'C and his
muscles, then a shot goes to a bug eating thru the wall) We got bugs.
(Shot goes to bugs taking over the room, and the room that Sam and Thor
are in.) (As Teal'C is dialing, Jack's constantly shooting.)
TEAL'C: O'Neill! (The bugs are coming over the wall behind the gate. The
door opens, more bugs!)
TS DAVIS (Come to think of it, this looks like Tok'Ra Spice Davis, huh?
NO! Tech. Sarg. Davis! LOL!) Bandit is STILL on controlled entry, present
heading, 196.
TEAL'C: (After putting in the earth symbol) GET DOWN!!!!! (Jack ducks
just in time!)
JACK: (Still shooting bugs) LET'S GO! CARTER!!!!! (She appears with Thor)
Can we blow this thing yet?!
SAM: (Putting on her glasses, and sending THOR thru) Not yet! (More shooting)
JACK: CARTER?!?!?!?!?! (More shooting)
SAM: NOT YET!!!!! (About a minute of shooting)
JACK: CARTER?!?!?!?!?!
Ship is shown burning up in atmosphere!
SAM: NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Jack presses the button.)
M. DAVIS: I understand that, Captain! What I want to know is what do you
see? Do you have a visual? 10th squadron airborne on intercept course.
TS DAVIS: The target has changed heading. It's not on controlled entry
vector. It's breaking up.
M. DAVIS: We have confirmation! A fireball 400 miles off the coast of
California heading into the Pacific Ocean. (Shot of fire ball) Navel recovery
teams will be out there to deal with an wreckage. (Looks at Danny) I'm
sure you were right, Doctor Jackson. The point of commandeering the Stargate
had to be an escape.
DANNY: I just hope they made it out in time.
Shot
of the wreckage in the ocean. A replicator appears on top of the wreckage,
with TO BE CONTINUED!
